I’m a Air Force Veteran, 304×0 Microwave Radio. I got into radio at 14 years old with a 23 CB in my mom’s station wagon.

Didn’t do much with radio after the service except a job that used GMRS radios. I decided I needed a retirement hobby and chose ham radio!

I have a Air Force friend that was a Ham and decided to get my ticket. I got my general August 2022. Currently running a IC-7610 with a ACOM 700s amp and matching tuner. My 2m rig is an IC-9700, antennas are on a 40′ tower.
